Story
Get to Know Us
Our school was established in 2014 by Teacher Camille Garcia, who envisioned a progressive preschool where children can truly enjoy learning. At that time, there were no similar options in the area, so we started with just one classroom and two dedicated teachers. In our first year, 22 students placed their trust in us, and thanks to the power of word-of-mouth and positive feedback from families, our student population grew each year. In 2017, the school was granted DepEd Recognition to operate Kindergarten. Now, after 12 years of service and successfully navigating challenges like the pandemic, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide a progressive preschool with developmentally appropriate practices for all children.
Our Educational Philosophy
Junior Explorers Play School’s philosophy centers on the belief that each child is unique and different and would benefit best from developmentally appropriate practices. Play is the primary medium for learning where the interests and skills of each child are considered. Moreover, the children should be given enough, challenging yet attainable opportunities of discovery learning. The families and the community are the partners of the school in maximizing the potential of each child.

School Year Program
Welcome to our amazing DepEd Recognized School! We’re thrilled to offer vibrant programs for Toddlers, Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten that run for a full10 months! Our Progressive, Play-Based Curriculum is designed to ignite the curiosity of children aged 2 to 6, making learning a joyful adventure! Plus, our Kindergarten students receive a Learning Reference Number (LRN) to help them seamlessly transition into Grade 1. Let’s embark on this exciting educational journey together!
